Big Farm: Mobile Harvest is the game I'm currently working on and have created from scratch in the Unity engine.
We have successfully released it globally on multiple mobile platforms and the Microsoft Store and it continues to be the most important game of the studio.
My tasks include gameplay programming, client-server communication and maintaining the automated build pipeline among others.
Empire: Four Kingdoms is the first game I worked on as a Flash (ActionScript 3) developer. I started out as a Trainee Client Developer and eventually worked my way up to be a Senior Client Developer with Big Farm: Mobile Harvest.
My tasks here mainly included gameplay programming and client-server communication.
Blackguards is a turn-based RPG for PC that I worked on as QA.
Here I learned how to properly test games, which is very helpful in my current work as a developer, because I can spot issues with my developed features more easily and can fix most of them before they ever reach QA.
We were also in charge of managing the Steam forums and answering questions the players might have and logging bugs they found.
Goodbye Deponia and Deponia: The Complete Journey marked the beginning of my game development career. I also worked as QA here and got my first taste of "crunch".
Working here was incredibly fun and definitely made me realize, that game development is what I want to do.
